ok well i bought an ITR water pump, but theres no dowel pins... and i bought it from the dealer. a few pictures ive seen on here of people selling them, shows them with without them as well. and on acuraautomotivepart's (where i bought it) illustrations, it shows the lack of dowel pin as well. whereas the GSR is shown to have the dowel pin. does this matter? i bought the water pump for an ITR (just because i was buyiing a bunch of other parts for ITR) and in hindsight i probably should have gotten the water pump for a GSR, but its too late now...

so i mean obviously theres nothing wrong with the actual part, but on an ITR motor is the water pump not locked in by dowels at all?
