i have a 88 crx with a few problems and i wanted to see if you guys on here can help me out

1st. it only revs to 6500 and i got a spoon chip wit no rev limiter i think it is the wiring harnest if u think somwthing else let me no
2nd. when i drive and when it hits vtec it boggs out i have no idea what that problem can be


the motor is a jdm b16

 

did you get the chip off of ebay???? what are the specs on your motor??

 

I'm betting more then anything its that "spoon chip"

Did your motor redline fine and not bog before installing it? Do you get any CELs?
How are you confirming you only hit 6500 oem tach?

 

i dont know what it redline before cause i brought the car as a shell when i installed the motor i installed the spoon chip and my fault it 7500 and it works when i take the ecu out for like 2 days but once the car gets hot it goes back down to 7500

 

u dont need to go past 7500 lol cuz u might hit a "SPOON" in the road and "CHIP" ur paint!lol j/k man!
