97 Accord engine swap..... h22 or k20???
I'm thinkin bout doing an engine swap in the beginning of the summer and i've googled 97 accord engine swaps and a lot of times i read full descriptions bout how to put in a h22 ('96 prelude motor), buuut i've found somewhere on the internet people sticking the RSX K20a2 motors in their accords. Now i'm not quite sure of the year of accord but RSX's are '02+ soo i'm wondering if i can stick that k20 engine and 6spd tranny into my '97 accord. I've read a lil' bout how easy it is to plop in a '96 prelude engine into the same year accord, because the front is pretty much the same, because in japan they had accords with those engines put in em stock.
Sooo can i stick in a k20a2 RSX engine with the 6spd tranny into my 97 accord is the BIG question????? (cause i wanna go all out if im doin a motor + tranny swap)
~Thx

There has been a swap like that done. There's been a post where they talked about it and even has the photo of one accord 5th generation with the K20 in.
I believe he had to customize all motor mounts, but it looked pretty clean.

You could try contacting hasport for any pre production mounts as well because they're still not for sale.
I'd go for a K24 instead of K20 for an Accord though because of the extra torque.
