whats the difference besides hp?

compression, cc, and tq is diff

usdm 10.0:1; 2156 cc; 158 tq
jdm 10.6:1; 2157 cc; 161 tq

h22a1(4thgen)usdm
- sand cast, close deck
-main bearing is 50mm
-compression 10.0:1
-190hp/158trq
-obd1

h22a4(5thgen)usdm
-die cast, open deck
-main bearing is 55mm
-compression 10.6:1
-200hp/156trq
-obd2

jdm h22a 96-00
same as a4 but diff compression,hp, main bearing, which is already posted above

just another question... is there a difference in installing these engines to a 92si?? or are they pretty much all the same?

there the same. do the tensioner conversion, swap fuel rails injectors and FPR, splice yellow external coil wire into black/yellow internal, change ecus, wire your 4 wires and be done with it.

you mean swap the h23 feul rail/injectors ect. to the h22 right? wouldnt that come with the engine?

There is also the JDM h22a type s, do not confuse any usdm engine with it. Difference between it and JDM h22a are quite numerous including cams, cam gears, pistons, & rods among others.

i dont ahve a clue what the original reply meant, but you would swap over your fuel rial since it matches the fuel lines on your car. you need to use the h22 injectors.
