Default ITB for a b16

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1607699

Hello from Argentina once again...

in the last hours i've been making some research and my idea is to install:

- TMW itb's, used with 450 rc inyectors which I can purchase here, do you recomend me 50 or 52 mm ones, I'm a daily driver and casually I run up with heavy rush hour.

- change my stock pistons for a forjed set getting a higher compression, which ones do you recomend me?

- Install a DC header, which better? 4-2-1 or 4-1?

- I've got a friend who's got an ACT clutch, should it be necessary?

- About my cams...should I change them? http://www.crespocams.com is here in Argentina they do sell cams for my engine...

- should I purchase a hondata or can I use my OBD1 ECU?

- Which CAM GEARS should I purchase?

well folks...as you can see i'm having a hard time deciding what to purchase, once I've got everything here in my country there is no turn back since my car here is quite rare. I'd sincerlly appreciate any help from your side, many thanks in advance.

Christian

Hondata is probably your best bet if no one tunes CROME or Neptune in Argentina.

As for the DC header, if you have money for ITB's, you have money for a better header than a DC header. You can spend $500-1000 on a header from someone like ANR, SMSP, RMF, Highend, Rage, DTR, etc. and gain probably atleast 10whp over the DC header.

People here seem to like Eagle rods, that's what I have, but there are a lot of good choices for pistons. You have to search around.

Any aftermarket clutch will be fine for an all motor setup.

As for cams, I would look at cams like Skunk2 Pro 1's, Skunk 2 Stage 2 (or Blox B), Buddy Club Spec 4, or others, I have never heard of http://www.crespocams.com

A lot of companies make good cam gears, the only bad ones are AEM's that have only 3 screws to adjust.

Aso for daily driving ITB's, Im not so sure it's a good idea. ITB's can be streetable but it's probably not smart for a car that you need to get to work/school everyday.

How much power do you want to make and what do you do with your car?
