Default Head gasket Choice

My head gasket is leaking some oil.
i made the mistake of using the old head gasket.
it only had 1000 miles and is a cometic gasket.
i need to replace it before i get my motor tune.
But my question is:
My block is a GSR block and is bore to 81.50mm. i currently have a cometic 81.50mm head gasket and is .040mm thick.
I was told that i can use the spoon head gasket but this gasket has the standard bore which is 81mm.
Would this work fine or should i get the 81.50.
i know spoon dont make 81.50mm gasket. but this gasket will lower my compression by .2 or .4.
The spoon cost $150 and the cometic $90
you think the spoon gasket worth the money or not.

Just run an oem gasket. no need for spoon its not anything special. is there a reason you had a .040 thick gasket. clearance issues?

Try Golden Eagle. They have oem gaskets that will fit your bore.

81.5 is fine for an unmodified gasket
