difference in v-tec and non v-tec i need help!

Default difference in v-tec and non v-tec i need help!

k guys i have been searching and trying to find out how to do a ls/vtec conversion or whatever but i cant seem to come up with anything!! right now i have a b18b with minor bolt ons nuthin special! but i rode in my friends 99si and it has the b16 or whatever with v-tec! and when we ride in his car his v-tec is so loud u can hear it when it comes on! can anyone tell me what the difference between v-tec and non v-tec motors are!

haha, my advice to you is spend most of your time on this site searching and researching whatever you have questions on. 95% of the time your question has been covered on this site a couple times before, so just search man, its the best tool on this site.

im doing the same thing, im gonna do a motor swap soon and ive been researching and searching **** on this site for hours and hours a day so i have an idea of what im getting myself into.

but ya, welcome to h-t man, search as often as you can and you will be fine.
