Default Pedal Stopper?

Once again the integra forums lack of effort has led me to here.

Basically my brake light had been remaining on when the car was off and the keys were out of the ignition. I just got back from honda and installed the part (Brake stopper). Here is my question now: (Copied straight from Integra forum post)

This forum never ceases to amaze me.

In case anyone cares, I went to honda and got the part. Now the only question I have is this.....I put the stopper where I thought it should be based on the picture. I tried to take a picture on my phone, but it didnt come out at all. So Ill try and explain it to see if its correct.

I placed the stopper through a hole on a metal braket that is attacted to the pedal arm. It pushes in on this little black (cylinder) plastic peice that is incased in a bolt-like thread pattern. Checked the tail light and vuallah! Its off now. I then pinned something against the brake and the brake light functions properly. So hopefully it is in the correct spot, just would like verifictation.

And to add to that, I noticed that my clutch pedal did not have the stopper. Again I am looking at the same spot, just on my clutch pedal. What is the purpose of the stopper on the clutch pedal and do I need to replace it.

Thanks Tech
