Default Anything i can use from an STD motor to make an Si motor more powerful?

I have an STD motor that'll be sitting around and i'll be getting an Si motor to stick in it. I hear the STD has a higher compression ratio and bigger cam, is this true? Would swapping the pistons make the compression higher in the A6, or is it because of the deck clearance that makes it higher?

the pistons are .1 comp higher if i remember and the cam... the lopes on it are more like mistqutio bites.

Nothing worth while imo, the STD is good for saving gas and getting point A to B.

I sold mine with 120K on it for 30 bucks and its still treating its new owner quite well last I heard
