Default Novice Autocross School @ Carlisle Fairgrounds May 20th.

SCCA AUTOCROSS/DRIVER’S SCHOOL: The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) will again conduct the very popular Driver’s School on Saturday and Autocross on Sunday. The event is conducted on the Carlisle Fairground’s quarter-mile six-turn mini road course, located in the North Field adjacent to the Turnpike. The Driver’s school is designed to improve your performance on the course, but it will also be useful if you simply want to learn more about your car’s potential, and your ability to manage it. There is a $25.00 fee for the Driver’s School/Autocross Event. When you register, you will choose a specific time slot for each day. Registration by time slot will reduce waiting time and will insure that everyone gets the track time they expect. To insure getting a time slot of your choice, register early at the SCCA tent located next to the track. Arrive at the track and check in at least 30 minutes prior to the start time for your session to allow time for sign up and a basic inspection of your car. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a current driver’s license. Helmets are required so bring your own or use one of our loaner helmets. The following is the schedule for the weekend:

Friday Registration - 1 PM till 3 PM
Saturday Registration - 9 AM till 3 PM

Saturday Drivers' School Sessions - Eight drivers per session maximum
Session 1 - 10 AM
Session 2 - 11 AM
Session 3 - 12:30 PM
Session 4 - 1:30 PM.

Sunday Registration - 9 AM till 1 PM
Sunday Autocross Sessions - Ten drivers per session maximum
Session 1 - 10 A.M
Session 2 - 11 A.M
Session 3 - 12:30 PM
Session 4 - 1:30 PM
Session 5 - 2:30 PM Note: Registration will close when the sessions are filled.

Gosh I wanted to try this little devil of a course so bad, but looks like I will be running the Philly event down Ripken. I might have to hit up two events in a weekend, again, always fun times, makes for a long Monday lol.
