I got a friend who has a 90 Accord LX who is trying to swap in a 95 F22 VTEC. I can't remember the exact code for that engine. To do that swap what needs to be done? Stock mounts work? Just wire in VTEC? Or is the 90 Accord OBDO? Any power steering line adjustments? Any info on this swap in general would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the F22B1 (1995), the code escaped my mind.

 

I've never done this but the mounts should be the same. You'll need to run the F22B1 ECU, I'd re-use the F22B wiring harness as well rather than trying to modify the F22A harness.

Wait, does that car even have an F22A in it? 1990? I know the 91's did...

 

Yes 90-93 had a F22A1 I'm pretty sure.
