Crower Stage 3 cams......
i dont know a whole lot about these cams
will these work with a 99 jdm itr motor w/basic performance upgrades or are these a more agressive cam that requires aftermarket valve train? If it does require upgraded valve-train what upgrades would you reccomend? If i can use my stock valvetrain and keep the stock rev limit that would be ideal how-ever if necessary i could add a few things to the head
i wasnt planning on adding cams but im getting my car re-dyno'd soon w/hondata and theres a local selling some stage 3 crower cam's cheap. If they will work and be worth it then ill add the cams and some adjustable cam gear's before dyno time to make a little more power....

those cams are huge.. I wouldn't even think about using them on stock valve train.. I know I didn't.
I would not recommend using these cams. I was very disappointed with the out come when I had them and wished I could have gone back to stock.
I would recommend Hondata, and tune what you have. Stock cams are really good cams.

You'll need a built motor to make power with those cams. I've seen them make plenty of power (264whp) but that was on a built 2.0L. There are much better cams for a stock ITR motor. If you don't want to change your valve springs I'd probably go with a set of Toda A's.

Those cams have WAY TOO MUCH lift my friend. Your springs will touch for sure. The valve train upgrade is a must. aftermarket dual valve springs and retainers for sure rated to handle st. 3 cams. Possibly new keepers and fuel upgrades as well. Best of luck.

well if i upgraded the springs/retainers would i be able to make decent power with them?
11:1 compression and then i could add crower valve-train upgrade's
and i already have hondata and walbro 255 fuel pump
.....will they make power on 11:1 compression ?
