I need a final clarification on dizzy fitment. I can only mount a D16Z6 dizzy up right? A dizzy from an Lx will not work. The reason I ask is because I won a Lx dizzy on Ebay and now I find out it won't work. I sure hope the seller gets back to me soon. It says P28 and civic and del sol and I thought sweet I found a dizzy. Guess not, the search continues and it was only going to be $40 and only 85k miles on it.

 

Mount up to what? If you are talking about a Z6 head, then yes, only the Z6 distributor will bolt up to it cleanly.

 

yea to the Z6 head. just wanted to make sure. b/c the last dizzy that was run on the car was mounted with one bolt and it was from the original motor, a d15b2, out of a hf, I believe.

 

I think if the D15B2 dizzy worked, I think I can get the B7 dizzy to work.
