Default few random 4th gen ?'s headlights/turn signals/idle/pcv etc

ok, I will have pics of this later, but when I bought my 92 si 4ws, it wasn't running, and it came with jdm headlights.. I noticed not long ago that there was some cutting/splicing going on and one wire wasn't hooked to anything near the drivers side headlight.. not too sure what it is, but usually headlights on cars.. when they switch from low, to high beam, the low beams turn off, are my headlights both supposed to be on when i have the high beams on?

another question, my winshield wiper fluid sprayer doesn't work, I can't even hear it working, what coudl be some causes of this? i'm tearing the fender liner to see more ofit later this week, just llooking for something to watch out for...

the marker lights right above where the fog lights woudl go, which one should turn on with the headlights and which one shoudl be the turn signal? i'm missing the outside-most passenger-side light and the other one doesn't work on thaht side if i remember right... the drivers-side outer-most turn on with the lights and the inside one is a directional... for some reason i thought it shoudl be the other way around.. which way is it supposed to go?

also, my idle is pretty random.. some times it'll be ok, it'll start off low and fluctuate between about 400-900, but sometimes after idling for a while, it even s out to about 750.. but a lot of times after I drive and come to a stop, it bogs down and goes between 200-600 and sometimes dies if I don't give it gas... I need a new 02 sensor, but coudl that be what was causing the weird idle? I plan on checking the egr, checking plugs, possibly changing the plug wires cap-rotor.. is ther eanything else I shoudl look for?

last question, My valve-cover gasket is leaking and my dad said to check and make sure the pcv valve is ok and not pushing my oil pressure up.. how woudl I check it to see weather or not it was bad and woudl there be a way to check oil pressure without some aftermarket gauges? does the oil light come on only when pressure gets too low or will it come on at high psi?

to answer a few of your questions.
yes when the highbeams go on, the low beams stay on...
your o2 sensor could very well be causing you rough idle. my o2 sensor went bad on my old s prelude and it idles horribly and then even started stalling randomly.
your gasket my just be bad, replace that first (only like $10) before you worry about anything else,if it still persists after you replace it then look into that pressure. my 96' gsr had a bad valve cover gasket when i first got i, i replaced it and it was perfect for the 2 years i owned it.

My friend who was a domestic tuner for years said you can clean out the o2 sensor by taking a propane torch (not acetelyne because of the smoke) and heating up the tip for 5-10min and it would get rid of buildup. Anyone has heard of this or done it to imports? Would be nice not to have to buy $150 o2 sensor mine has 141k on it think its alittle bit clogged.
