I have a problem of my HONDA CRX 91 not starting sometimes. Sometimes the car wants to start and sometimes it does not. When i turn the key over fully i get nothing. No crank. Lights come on. Relay under flip down compartment clicks which i think is the fuel pump relay. I hear the fuel pump prime, But yet nothing. It seems like the car starts more on cooler days then hottier. New starter. New main relay. I can jump a wire from the positive side of the batt. Put the car in neutral and touch the starter soelinoid and start the car everytime. I can also pop the clutch to start it. What im thinking it might be is electrical, something like the clutch safety switch or the starter relay but i have no idea where they are located or how to test any of them. sounds like your clutch safety switch..mine went on me too, what i did was just cut the plug off and soldered the two wires together..no more problems just remember to always check if the car is in neutral before you start it..and you dont have to push the clutch anymore

 

where is it at and what does it look like? How can i test it? What kind of voltage am i suppose to be getting there and at the wire that goes into the starter soilnoid?
