I was under the car doing an oil change today and noticed a crack in the bracket that supports the bottom of the header. It is not cracked the whole way through yet, but it is gonna break soon. Anyone else have this problem?

 

I too notice that mines is cracked (crack starts under the " drivers side " bolt)

 

 

Did you use a Longer bolt? on the drivers side

 

This doesn't sound good...wonder what mine looks like? Anyone have pics of their cracked JDM header bracket?

 

Yep , I used longer one from auto parts store.

 

...I'm hearing more and more stories of this... interesting... I'll keep and eye on mine...

Ya, i used a longer bolt too. The crack starts a couple mm below the bolt holes and is about 1" long. I am kinda pissed that i paid $45 for the bracket and it didn't even last a year.
