I have a 91 crx si and I was driving the other night and all the sudden my guage cluster lights turned off. But my radio, and climate controls were still working. I checked the fuses under the dash and under the hood and none were blown. So I got on here and searched and found that it could be the dimmer switch.
I went to the Honda dealership and they told me the dimmer switch has been discontinued.
What should I do now?

#11 is discontinued
but is that the problem?
Or is #9 the problem?

 

Is there any way to by pass the dimmer? I don't dim the dash lights because they aren't very bright to begin with.

 

ya you can bypass. i had to do it to mine til i found a new switch i believe all we did was connect the the red wire on the plug to a power... and it should be good. u can do it to the headlights i believe...
