IAT= Intake Air Temperature (sensor)

DPFI= Dual Point Fuel Injection

dpfi is dualport fuel injection its the fuel injection most 88-91 civics came with. does that clear it up

 

its dual point, not port.


the dual point injection doesnt actually shoot the fuel down two ports.....


that wouldnt make sense, now would it?

 

sorry had mutliport in my head while i was typing my bad. i just kept looking up at what he had type

no thats actually multi port

 

i know that in reality the injectors are squirting down multiple ports, but honda calls it multi-point.

Lx models also have dpfi.... dont forget our 4 door friends.
