Default car vibrates at 2000 rpm

Whenever the car is around 2000 rpm the car vibrates. But it doesnt vibrate much before or after that.. maybe 100 rpm in between. I have the old school hasport mounts so the car does vibrate but it never did usually at 2000 rpm. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to look at ? Thanks

Mine does the exact thing at 1750. Whether it's at a stand still, in 1st, 2nd, etc. and doesn't matter of the speed. I couldn't find anyone who had the problem and/or any good ways to fix. I figured it's something like an out of balance flywheel or something in the drivetrain. Figured too much hassle for a little vibration...

Past problem I had:
When accelerating from 2000-3500 RPMS, my engine/car would vibrate in a slight jerking motion, then once past 3500 RPMS would be fine.

What was wrong:
Valve Cover gasket. Don't know how/why, but I put on a new VC gasket, and never had the problem again.

Sounds like we had the same problem.

the strange part is there is no rpm range for the vibration .. it happens at 2000 rpm +/- 200.. it's really weird

ur bushing sound like they could be goin bad... are bushings covered by hasport? i have enjo mounts and theyre pretty stiff with my ls motor. no wheel hop whatsoever, but the vibration is around 1500-2000... no where else. in my old sohc rex the car would vibrate cuz the idle was low from oil getting in the sparkplugs.... after i fixed that it was constant. just check everything out. sounds like bushing to me... if not maybe get one of those engine dampeners?? good luck.

I figured out the problem ... the header bracket wasn't on properly because i installed a new header. so i adjusted it... vibration gone! Thanks for the help

Hmm interesting. That's probably my problem too because I have an aftermarket header and it could be hitting something. My buddy mentioned that, but I just figured since it was so specific to RPM that that couldn't be it. Good call
