I need to ship my ecu out tonight, and last time it got taken out i didn't do it myself. I was told that its under the passenger side carpeting, i just want to make sure before i go ripping anything out. its for a 1997 accord ex 4 dr...thanks in advance

 

I have 2000, maybe its the same for your car.
The ecu is located under and behind your center console (radio,a/c). From the passenger side, pull back the carpet to reveal a metal box (ecu) with 4 connectors. 3 gray, 1 blue.

 

i never herd of that one? since i had my accord i have found like 4 computer boxes, i gotta look for that one you said, if i find that one then it would have 5 comp boxs in my 98.

 

yes the ECU is located under the carpeting of the passenger seat area..

its under where ur feet goes. you just unsnap the bolts...unscrew the steel sheet and ur ECU is attached to the sheet on the other side. i have a 95 ex accord. so I'm sure it should be the same
