I am swaping a H22A Engine I need some tips please!!
I am purchasing my own JDM 1993 H22A Engine and am swapping it into my 1990 Honda Accord LX, I need some tips and things that will take place of what is gonna happen form other's experiences, like can i sell my old engine and where? and what are some first tune's i can do to the h22a engine, and also what kinda better brakes should i get? Thanks for all your help, hope this can become a faq to other's in my position in the future.

Let's see, I know the guys tend to rave on the Brembo blank rotors.
You can probably sell your f22 to a salvage yard or someone who is in a jam and needs a replacement motor.
I don't know enough about the actualy h22 to break down what you could tune, sorry man.
There are a ton of guys on here who do know.. let's see if they come out of the woodwork..

I have an h22 in my 90 accord lx. I used all the prelude mounts except the trans mount i used the accord mount. I know some people say you need all lude mounts but my motor was totally crooked with all those mounts. On the trans there are two blank holes that you have to tap into these hole line up perfectly with the accord mount. I am also using the 4th gen accords and haven't had any problems with them yet. I am not really sure about the wiring i didn't do it cause i didn't want to mess it up i wish i would have though. I can't think of what else you need to do.
Do you have any pics of your 4th gen with the h22a in it? Did you get any better sport brake pads or anything? Thanks for your help!
No pictures yet. I got powerslot rotors cause i got em real cheap and just regular brake pads bendix i think. Thats what i am doing next is upgrading brakes. I don't drive like a crazy ******* though so the breaks i have are fine for now. I only go fast when no one is around or atleast no one infront of me.
