Sup all? glad to find an EF community! This is my current project. I saved it from certain death and I'm slowly restoring it.

Hello and welcome! You get +99999999 points for introducing yourself without a giant run on sentence about bottles of v-tec or some other bullshit.

BTW, I used to live in Boulder. Fort Collins is pretty nice

thanks for the warm welcome guys. Yeah it had a front bumper but it resembled swiss cheese and I figured it deserved a home at the city dump. I figure I want to put the jdm front end on it eventually anyway.

nice motor setup. then i look at your exhaust, is that the stock oem exhaust piping that came with the car? or did you get a custom made exhaust? cuz size wise it looks the same as stock, and dont understand why you would leave that there while putting out 180 horses

well the exhaust is after market it's 2.25 I think...don't quote me on that. But also the car dyno'd at 145hp I think that has to do with two things 1) altitude...gotta love colorado and 2) it has a walbro 255 intank pump and is running pretty fat.

As far as saving the car from certain death here is the story.

When I first picked up this car it was for 500 bucks..came with the motor (in pieces, bad rings, warped head) I put new rings and bearings in it and had the head machined back to the acceptable clearances...180psi compression across the board now.

It had a super jenk roll cage in it (that was welded onto the gas tank hump...). It also was interior-less..but the cage got cut out and replaced with black interior.

It also had awesome diy window tint that was all sorts of bubbled. I spent probably a week sweating the tint so I could save the rear defroster. (hard to do in colorado when the temperature can't stay steady for more than a day)

The kid also had pulled the steering rack out of it just for ***** and giggles and was missing half of the parts to put that back together...so I hunted them down and finally was able to steer it with out kicking the wheels around...

It had some rad *** solid motor mounts that sat the motor all stupid..replaced those with yonaka urethane mounts.

It didn't have any corner lights so I bought the "vision" corners...note the quotations.

Also it didn't have any wheels and I was lucky enough to have a set of gsr wheels chillin I could toss on it.

After all of this I decided to read the small faded hippy flower sticker on the rear bumper it was for some head shop here in town....ahhh it all makes sense now...

oh yeah the car also didn't have any mirrors so I picked up a set of power non power folding mirrors for it... But all in all the car came with the motor, the fuel pump, the radiator, a brand new dizzy, and alot of potential for 500 bones...thank you stoner kid!
