Default All motor b18b non vtec worthless?

Well this is a non vtec motor i have started to build and i was wondering what your thoughts or conserns where. Its in a 90 integra ls and i am thinking about building a n/a motor for it. It would be a mild motor, heavy cams, high compression pistons and maybe itb. What do you think? Waste of money?

Thanks

b18b in a 90 integra, so it's been swapped? Do a compression check, leak down before hand to see if the motor is healthy. You don't want to bump money into a motor that isn't heathly. After everything checks off good then your good to go. I'd personally look into lsvtec if your going all motor.

Waste of money? I don't think so. Question is; is it worth it to YOU?

Best way to put it.

What do you mean by mild motor but "heavy cams"

What do you want out of the motor really? I would agree with going lsvtec. I use one myself but that doesnt mean the b18a/b is worthless to build.

We did a LS motor for my teammates Ej1 . Daily driver around 11.8-1 compression.Gude Performance did the head work and cams.Pulls hard to 8500.Faster than our LS/Vtec hatch. All in the tuning.I'm sure the B16 tranny helps too.I say build it.If you want it bad enough, anythings possibe.****,theres guys out there bangin on single cams. It's all in how you build it.
