installing an HID kit on a 03 Honda accord
I own a 03 Honda accord I was wondering what is the easiest way to install an HID kit? because just to replace the light bulb is a big hassle. Wow how do I miss my 99 Accord it was so easy to chnage it on those accords

Well, most guys on this site will tell you to get a retro fit housing on both sides, but this is what I did. On the passenger side, I just reached around up in there. I mounted the ballast on frame in the front, almost over the headlight housing. It's between the grill and the housing, but on the inside. Connect your bulb then connect the wiring. Now on the driver side, you must remove the battery, and a small plastic piece that's attached to the frame. I mounted the ballast on side where the battery goes. You will still be able to put the battery back in , just look at it before drilling. I used self tapping screws to mount both ballast. After installing both bulbs and ballast, and connected all wiring, get on level ground. (This is very important) Have a friend or somebody park their car in front of yours about 2 to 3
car lengths. aim your lights at bumper level, If you don't you will blind the hell out of people, because of the glare. At bumper height, you will light up the ground and keep your beams under the back window. At night have someone drive your car behind you to see if it's done right. This is what I did and I have know problem, and best of all, no complaints from people getting blinded. Now if your willing to spend some money, you can get a retro fit housing. That's what most guys get on this site. GOOD LUCK!!!!
