how do i get my vtec seliniod cover off?

i own a 89 civic hatch with a b16a1. i bought a ichibahn vtec seliniod cover and was wondering how to get the stock cover off?

it should go over the OEM one, and use a set screw to hold it in place. There is no need to remove the OEM solenoid cover.
