Re: New Suspension Setup - Thoughts & Opinions are very welcome
So my EG is dropped on Skunk2 sleeves all around, stock shocks up front and Koni Yellows in the rear. Looks to have an Si rear left LCA, and a stock rear right LCA.
Now then... my car is just way to ****** low for my driveway. Car is sitting on 14" del sol wheels, and the car is dropped.

The alignment is definately all fucked up because i can feel it going around turns and on the highway. Toe, camber and whatever else are totally off.
This is my plan of action... let me know what you guys think.

What do you guys think of this setup? I want the drop on the car to be like a finger and a half gap from fender to tire.
This car is going to be a daily driver, but i want it to handle awesome. I will be using it for drag/auto-x/road racing, in no particular order. I am very excited about NJ Motorsports Park, and i definately want to hit that up.
Any and all criticism, opinions, advice is welcome!

Could a mod fix the title and remove the Re: part. I have no idea how it got there.
Thanks!

I think it looks ok.But i think getting an alignment would help a ton without any of that stuff. But sounds like your on the right track. Can't go wrong with koni.

go with either skunk or omni power front upper arms for you camber adjustments, much better pieces then the SPC ball joints. When the SPC ball joints are installed, you end up with about an extra 3/4" on top of your control arm that interferes with the fender well at low rideheights, and your **** is low!

Thanks.
I do not have any intentions of keeping the car that low at all. I am going to put larger wheels on and raise it.
Thanks!
I am going to move this to the suspension forum.

GC Upper mounts are only necissary if your going to be lower than about 2" (and only the front really). You sound like you don't want the car as low as it already is, so I recomend you don't waste your money.
ITR front LCAs are the same as any other Integra or Civic that came with a front sway-bar (except 99-00 Si).
ITR rear LCAs require ITR rear shocks. Not really worth buying new shocks if you already have Koni yellows in the rear. I recomend regular Integra LCAs that have the sway-bar mounting hole.
For the rear ITR sway-bar, I suggest you just get the complete 22mm sway-bar kit from ASR. It comes with everyhting you need, and you don't have to worry about finding all the other stupid parts at the dealership or whatever. That 1mm wont' make much difference...
The ITR front sway-bar is the exact same as the GSR one. It just makes it easier to find If you don't specify that you want the ITR one.
I recomend you don't buy camber kits. We all know why, so I won't even start that debate here...
Poly bushings are a pain in the *** to install. I wouldn't waste my time with them. Replace any worn/cracked/torn rubber bushings with new OEM or hard Mugen rubber. Also make sure to reset all your bushings for your new ride height, and follow that up with an alignment to zero out your toe settings (that do change with ride height).
Strut tower bars are not worth the rediculous price you will pay for them. The 3 point thing is pointless because the firewall is as flexy as a dish rag. Have you ever noticed people install master cylinder braces to keep the wall from flexing due to brake FOOT pressure. Not to sturdy IMO. It's $300+ thats better spent elsewhere..

People have told me that using the GC Upper Mounts are not necessary if your car is not dropped more than 2". Using the GC upper mount will make installation a lot easier, and i'll also be upgrading a 13 year old OEM upper mount in process. I feel it'll be worth it.
As i learn the wants/don't wants of my car, Stage 2 will commence.

looks like he is setting the car up for auto-x or track use. camber kits can be used for purposes other than correcting negative camber.

If you ever buy some race rubber you will need the camber kits to ADD negative camber. Most race rubber likes a lot of negative camber.
