I have been to the track 3 times this year. I have had nothing but problems. My transmission has been out 5 times so far and just got done puting my tranny back in tonight. If every thing goes good wednesday at PIR I will be down at woodburn saturday.

 

ill be there with the civic, just finished it up and ran it last week at pir (1/8 mile) to see if everything works. Cant wait to go and play

well just looked at the weather and it is saying showers, I swear the import gods hate woodburn.

 

ohh man i wanna go i dont know if i can get any money in time. haha

what do you guys think of woodburn vs PIR. Ive only been to woodburn cause everytime i try to go to PIR its rained

 

"Trackwise," Woodburn is 1000 times better. PIR sucks *** for prep, braking distance, etc... We see huge differences in ET, mainly due to track conditions, but that's when you're talking high hp cars that have traction issues to begin with. Definately get out there if you can. Scott and I might come hang out too!

 

Forgot to mention 'cause it was late and I was tired... They also allow you to run open downpipe or header at Woodburn. Don't know if that means much to anyone, but I get sick of PIR bitching about SFWD/T4 cars not having mufflers when they consider turbo a muffler. And lastly, they're much more organized down at Woodburn.

i swung by there around 10 and not too many cars there. id say about 30.

That sucks.

 

Pretty sad... no one even goes out to Woodburn anymore. Oh well, most of the people with halfway decent cars know it's still worth it to run on/at a better track (ie. Woodburn). PIR =

 

I would of gone but I saw a chance of rain and thought it wasn't worth the 3 hour tow to get there and then just have to come straight back.
