Default bad TPS??

I have and obd0 b16 swapped into my rex and when i'm at a stop light and i take it outta gear my rpm sometimes stays at 1.5 until i lightly pull on the gas pedal and then it drops down to where it should be. Is this a problem with my throttle positioning sensor or is my throttle cable too tight (because it doesnt happen all the time). Could it also be a problem with the IACV? Thanks a lot

Seems pretty simple... there is a spring that pulls the acceleration pedal back out... it could either be off, or just weak... get down there and check it out... my 90dx with 178k did that... I just played with the spring (and used my foot a few times) to pull it back out and all was well.

pull up on the gas pedal if it goes down. to tight of a cable. if not then a vacuum leak. possibly tps but doubt it unless your throttle is real touchy.
