New Car, no more ITR
Well finally after prolly a year of looking went and bought a new car. So far the car is awesome. Its no ITR but it is great in its own way. I have not sold my ITR yet but will soon, and I will miss her after 7 years and 10 months of ownership.
Old car:

New car: 2006 Sti only has 1000 miles and I have already installed Cobb springs, sti short shifter, 05 tail lights and rally armor mud flaps (not pictured). I have ordered Cobb AP, sway bars, and intake and front lip which should all be here this week.

Very nice
. That would be my DD if I took the R off the road. Probably an 04-05 though; that new front end kinda bugs me
. How do you like the torque? Pretty crazy eh?

Damn, another R owner jumping on the Evo/Sti bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, their fast cars and easy to make much faster, but their generic (and in the case of the 06' STi, pretty damn ugly). Oh well, to each his own. Good luck with the car.

I'd keep the R if it were me but hope U like your new toy.
Not trying to change the subject but since we're on the (STi/Evo bandwagon thing), I love the look of the Evo but are the things ant better about not breaking under heavy HP? I'd love to get 1 but the old DSM nightmares still scare me away.
Once again, nice car man! Enjoy!!!

Well it's a bit early to say how these high HP cars will hold up after long periods of time, considering how the oldest usdm evo is only 4 years old.
the only way i could see myself owning one is if it had the factory warranty. and of course, most suby and mitsuibishi delearships aren't mod friendly

sick car, sick car.
Alot of R drivers are switching over to the STi, nothing but the best for us enthusiasts.. I guess the ITR is dated, but it still kicks ***
I hear alot of the new STi drivers miss the "fun" drive from the ITR!

</TD></TR></TABLE>As far as Mitsu dealers go they can all jump in the lake! They are absolutely pathetic!
I know personally of 3 local guys w/ the Evo 8's that had probs w/ the dealers. I talked to a really cool guy here in town that had 1 w/ 42K mi on the stock clutch. But he doesn't try to impress anyone w/ reving it to 5 or 6K rpm's & dumping the clutch. I think thats 1 of the downfalls is the way ppl treat the clutches. A freind of mine had an 04 STi w/ a few bolt-ons & ran mid to high 13's but I wasn't impressed w/ the trap speed. Anyway, I drove the car a few times & good God @ the midrange pull the thing had to be fairly stock! Fun car!
