Problems after clutch swap
Ever since the clutch change, when i engage the clutch on 1st gear and release slowly, it sounds//feel the clutch like its dropping when engaging, but I'm not dropping the clutch...I also have a lag between accelleration and decelleration when in gear (lettin foot off gas pedal or steppin on the pedal), like when i downshift, i feel the clutch engage, then there's a lag to the tires responsing and when im about to gas, there's a lag response..I also get grinds on the gears that ive never grinded on before. At first i thought it was cuz of my front mount cuz it was ripped, but i poly'd it but that still doesnt help, now im guessing its cuz of my axles, my axles feel loose when i shooked it under the car.
any help is appreciated.

Did you torque the bolts down to factory spec? I changed out my clutch once and just zipped them back in with the air gun. About a month later I started to get a wobble and alot of clutch chatter when i would let the clutch out slowly.
yea torque'd the bolts down. There's no noise coming from the clutch, its just that it feels like im "droppin" the clutch everytime i engage into a gear. Other than that, its the axels makin the noise, im changing them soon hopefully :D
Did you adjust your cable accordingly? It is a new clutch. Also, sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaing, that may account for the grinding. That would be the mainshaft and countershaft not syncronizing.
if its a cable tranny make sure that your clutch cable adjuster is adjusted properly.pull the cable up while while you adjust the nut.if its a hydro , you might wanna bleed the clutch lines.my last thought is the you proly didnt install the clutch properly.but if you followed proper instructions on how to put a clutch or youre sure you did it right then try bleeding it or adjusting it or bleed the clutch like i said. hoped this worked for you man.

yea its cable. I have it adjusted to grab early-mid. The clutch that I put in isn't new, it was from a z6
Worst comes to worst, I'll redo everything, but do you guys think the axle has any effect to any of this? My axles feel F'd up
appreciate the help

i really dont know if the fact that your axles are a litle loose could create a problem.mine you can shake them just a bit and i was feakin out. i asked my friend and he said its allright.
could it be the mix-matchin of the flywheel and clutch that causes this problem??
cuz im using z6 clutch with 90-91si flywheel but i dont think any of that would matter right? i thought they were interchangable but i could be wrong
and for the splines, i checked them before i put them in, im using the 89-91 tranny.
EDIT: well i did some searching and found 2 threads; 1 thread said cable and hydro clutches arent interchangeable, and the other thread said it is interchangable 92-00 as long as you use the same pressure plate with the clutch...
im using my old pressure plate with the z6 clutch, im not sure whether the problem is im not using the z6 PP or the hydro clutches don't work with cable trannys
can someone clear this up
