99-00 civic H&R springs on a 88-91 crx???? What will happen??
i have H&R lowering springs for a 99-00 civic, 2.25 in the front and a 2.0 in the rear and my question is what would happen if i put it on my 91 crx?? ive been told that it will raise the car, thought i might make sure

What will happen will be based on the lengths of the springs. I don't know the lenght of the CRX springs, but if the uncompressed length is longer than the lowering springs (wich is pretty likely) you'll get some drop; even with the weight difference.

I'm not really sure what you mean by compressing the shock.
What I mean by uncompressed lenght is what the lenght of the spring would be when it's not loaded by the weight of the car (uninstalled). Low rate (stock and some lowering) springs can compress quite a bit when installed under the weight of the car.

I think your back end will be crazy high, and the front will have a nice drop. Thats what happened when I put stock EG hatch springs on my CRX. Just get springs for the CRX.
