Default wiring mess...help me make some sense of it

Upon taking my dash apart, I noticed some big time splicing had taken place under my dash near the fuse box that needs to be fixed and possibly exploited. Basically I need to know two things:

1) can any of these wires be used for the "signal" wire for the wideband?

2) are any of these wires a 12V power source?

the one thick white wire is nearly shredded in half so Ill either be soldering it back together or tapping into it.

well a power wire can be used from the make fitting direstly left to the 2 green plugs (there is a row of plugs to use to the top of the fuses) use a test light to see which one has either a constant power source or ign. power

this info was pm'ed to me, posting here for later reference

to answer your question the big white wire is the main power for the ignition switch. the black with white strip is your stater wire and the black with yellow strip is your main ignition power wire. either solder the wire back really good your better yet get a replacment ignition harness from a dealer or junk yard. any integra 94-01 or any model will work. there all the same.

I wanted to add, that any 12V source would work. It doesn't need to be constant 12v. Instead of hacking up something else, use the same wire but use some quality ends that will permit a third wire. Solder everything followed by heat-shrink.

its also recommended that I add a fuse if I tap into the ignition switch...do they make some kind of in-line fuse or something?

Yes they do make ANL inline fuse holders, look for one at a electronics store or e bay.

Did you take the whole dash out ? and how hard was it ? did you have to remove steering wheels or airbags ?

please let me know as I am considering doing this to fix up my wiring also
