what yr is the car? if its a 99-00 then use the b16 ecu and wire the neccessary sensors to get it smogged. obd-2 is a liitle harder cause they hook up a scanner at the smog station. and another thing is when you plug in the ecu , you have to drive it a certain distance before all the monitors in the ecu have run. or else when you go to the smog station they will fail you.

your not gonna pass smog with a b16 unless you get it BAR. My advice is you find someone who will do it under the table for you or put the stock motor back in.

If the car is running fine and you say you have all the sensors hooked up, why not get it BAR'd? If you fail BAR, they will tell you exactly what you need to pass.

If you are worried about registration, you can pay your fee without proof of smog (I learned the hard way). But you will evenutally have to send it in later. In the mean time, you can get your car BAR'd.

Don't worry if your car is JDM, JDM motors can pass.

Dang, bro. I'm going through a similar problem with smog. I have an ls in a 99 civic turbo. I'm going to have to take the turbo off and get it BARd. That's my only option. You should do it too. But, to answer your question, buy an OBD2a->OB2b wiring harness and plug in a 99 Civic SI ecu (I have one handy by the way). That should do the trick. You can buy the harness here:

You should be able to get your car BARd like that. Good luck and wish me luck too.

So what's my other option? The turbo kit is made for a civic SI, not Integra. The carb EO number says it's for a 99 Civic SI. I don't even want to try; the ref might say something that the kit is not for an LS. I already took the turbo kit off so I'm going to take it to the ref, bone stock. At least that way, if I ever get pulled over, I have my BAR sticker.

CARB turbo placard, and leave it alone. You don't need a BAR sticker. PM me for more info...
