Help Help Help!!!

So I have a 97 civic (USDM) and I got a great deal on a JDM ek9 navigation unit. I know that I would have to swap out the entire climate control console to get this thing in my car and that is a big hassle but I might have a way to get it in without touching the climate control unit. Either way I really need a wiring diagram so I can wire this up and get it running. I've been told that it may have already been updated with a us map system but the seller was unsure. Could someone please help me out? Thanks.

i dont own an EK so cant help you there... my guess is that it should just wire up fine. take apart your dash and see what the *** end looks like. The Ebay pics are extensive so you compare well. And i you bought it already, just sit there and wait for it. try. it might just bolt it fine. if not then complain and ask the geniues' at HT.

 

Good idea. I'll pull apart the dash and check it out. Let's hope I can figure it out.

 

the navigation will never work with the roads here in the U.S. But I have heard of people who get the T.V. to function just fine and hook up DVD players to it. Good luck with finding a wiring diagram though because I haven't seen one.

 

I know someones gotta have the wiring diagram.
I guess all I can do for now is wait and see.
