I plan on going and running but still having an issue with my motor mixing coolant with the oil. If anyone knows how to fix this and wants to help me get it fixed so I can race that would be cool.

i had a similar problem and finally solved it by resurfacing the block/head smoother. turns out the surface was too rough allowing water to pass underneath the mls gasket. hope this helps, goodluck.

 

I'll be there just spectating/Crew chiefing though . I still need a few things to finish my car.

I had read your post about that. That will prob be my next step. What sleeves were you running?

Don't run either oil or coolant, that way they can't mix

On a serious note whats the full story on it? What has attempted to be fixed already and such?

I will be there. I am just finishing up on a few things this week and should be testing this weekend.

dont know if i am going to try SFWD or q-16.
depends if i get it on the dyno with the 1200's or not.

That's our goal. We recently made a few changes to the car and we are looking to test it out this week so that it will be ready to go for the NHRA E-Town event.

Just clarified w/ her that we'll be here on the east coast but, that'll be our first weekend alone (no kid) since we've been married (going on 3 yrs.) so, I'm pretty sure being your guy's crew chief during that time won't be in my best interest.
