will it bolt up to a f22a1 block or what do i need to do

Why not just use an H22 head? It's cheaper and easier to find, and essentially the same thing for your purposes.

Just as easily as an f20b head would.

View the threads about the H22 head on the F22b2 block. This should give you an idea of what is necessary. You'll also need to determine if there are any differences between the f22b and f22a blocks. (I don't know if there are any differences or not.)
