Default 94 Accord Gauge Problems

I just bought a 94 Accord EX and have some problems with the gauge cluster. First is the speedometer and odometer don't work. Also, when driving for a little bit, the green light around the 'D4' blinks. I was wondering what the problem could be and if it can be fixed. If i need to replace it, would any 94-97 4 cylinder gauge be fine?

I bet your speed sensor has gone bad. Just go to your dealer parts store and pick one up. That would be the reason for the D4 light blinking and the speedometer, odo not working.
It's an easy fix to do yourself just ask and one of us will be happy to help

So the gauge cluster doesn't need to be changed out? How do I go about fixing the odo/speedo thing? Also, is the D4 thing related to the CEL that pops on after a couple of minutes of driving and goes off every now and then? Thanks for the help.

if the VSS is not working, the D4 light will blink and your ODO and Speedo will not work. Change out your VSS and see if that solves your problem...

Also to you please do some more research about a subject you arent 100% sure about before giving advice that could cost someone a good deal of money for a solution that isn't going to work.
