ls/vtec turbo ?

Default ls/vtec turbo ?

hey im in the process of building a ls/vtec for boosting i have the bottom end worked for low compression lets say i want to run 10 lbs daily would i have to change cams? on my stock b16 head? or should i just change the springs and retainers?

The 1g b16 cams are the worst..So even gsr cams is an upgrade and its a noticed upgrader when boosted..You can keep stock vavle train though unless you plan on revving real high..

heres a dyno of stock block lsvtec with gt30 turbo..the dotted lines are B16a 1g cams,,and the solid lines are 95 gsr cams..only thing changed was cams,,nothing else..

im planning on reving to 8g soo yeah i might as well change stuff on the vavletrain what do you suggest i change? and also i could run my motor low compression because i should be putting the motor together within the next couple of weeks than the turbo possibly around mid july?

you can keep the stock b16 valve train for only 8000revs,,But if want something alittle better look into vavle train from the itr motor,,
