2nd Annual R&D Motorsports Honda Poetry Challenge
That's right, folks, it's been a year since the first one, won by HTech poet laureate RStoR. This year, the premise is the same. Submit a poem, any form from Haiku to Sonnet, about why you love or even hate your Honda. A winner, 2nd, 3rd and Hondarable mention will be chosen by a panel of nonpartisan judges (my wife and one other judge to be chosen at random at a later date). Prizes are as follows:
Grand Prize - Type One Catback or ATS 4.929FD or $500 Gift Certificate
Runner Up - Toda Flywheel or $375 Gift Certificate
3rd Place - Toda or Spoon Cam Gears
Honorable Mention (3 prizes) - Choice of Spoon Rad Cap and Oil Cap or Mugen Rad Cap and Oil Cap
So, sharpen your pencils and think about your submittals. We will begin the contest 4-12-02 and all entries must be received by 4-22-02. Please send your entry in to sales@randdmotorsports.com with a title of POETRY CONTEST as the subject. Be sure to include your full name and contact information with your submission. There will be no laughing, at least in front of you. When there are prizes at stake, I think you will find that your creative energy gets a boost. Remember, a poem can be anything. I was VERY impressed with some of the submissions last year. They were good!
