how do you get the window crank off?

how do you get the window crank off?

do you need a special tool, or does it just pull off? 95 civic dx

You are supposed to use this hook tool. But a flathead will work. You have to slide the U-pin out from inside the crank.

yea from under the crank, you have to slide the small flat head and push a pin, then it's free.
