well i pulled up to a stop sign. went to put it in gear and snap. the stupid bolt just snapped in half and now my clutch pedal is just wiggiling around. so my question is how do i get the remaining half of the bolt out? am i stuck having it drilled out?

 

That same stuff happend to me ..Twice ,,on my current car and on my last car..I just went the junkyard and got a whole assembly from another crx,,I paid $40 for it..

Or you can get a new bracket from honda,,Last time I checked it was $90.....Also when I did this I took out the dashboard so I could have room..

By the way, driving home without the clutch isnt fun..

 

i figured it was going to be more of a pain in the *** to fix than it should have been
so i need to take out the dash to get at it. it looks like it can be done without but would be a pita. oh well here is a pic for ***** and giggles

I took out the dash because I need room to work..But if you look under there it looks like you can gain access to it by dropping the steering column..

 

well this should be interesting. ive never messed with this before and its sitting in the PX parking lot so i guess ill be doing it there

edit: normally i would like to have room but its in a parking lot and i dont want some *** clown towing it

yeah you need # 22 "pedal bracket"..looks like the price went down a bit..
