Default oil

whats the best oil for my b16..does it matter when u have vtec that u get a higher grade oil..or whatsup?

i just use 5w-30 synthic for everything, and a good filter.

I think you should be fine with just that.

10w30 syythetic will be fine, mobil1, valvoline super syn

I use 10w30 also..but not synthetic,,i use the cheap exxon from walmart..

I used to run royal purple, but since wal-mart has that 5 quarts of mobil synthetic for like 20 bucks i switched.

Ya go with 10w-30 it is really good put a couple courts in and try finding some power punch to put in with the oil it will help the engine and make it run alot nicer and last alot longer

yessir, go alllout full synthetic, i happen to work at valvoline instant oil change (vioc) and its some good ****, its like $50 for it compared to $30 for a regular conventional oil (including the oil change service w/ free fluid top offs), but ya it will run your engine MUCH beter, give you better gas milage, gives it better performance.

if you like your engine, treat it right with the right indegrediants.

i run purple!.....5 30.......should I run 10 30?...cuz my car says 5 30...but i am at 214k+ miles hahaha...and still runnin purple!.....and that "punch"...such as?...

run w/e it recommends on the oil cap unless it doesnt say anything on the oil cap then it doesnt recommend anything....

i run 5w30 purple in the rex, 10w30 purple in the hatch
the lude just gets castrol gtx 5w30
no problems in any of them and i run the hell out of the civics
