Hey guys

Alright ive got a 91 civic HB si

I noticed that the lighting for the instrument pannel just seems to be a couple of bulbs that shine down at the gauges. has anyone changed these? how easy is it to get to them?

Thier easy to get to. Search for like cluster lighting, there was a thread recently about this.

 

its easy to get to them. all you have to is take off the dash piece covering the gauges (4 screws) then on top there is a white cover that has the 2 bulbs in it.

 

does anyone know what bulb i can use in there. i want to use red or blue bulbs instead of the white ones

 

i hate those lights. wish i knew how to replace the lights behind the numbers and light up the needles . plus im kinda lazy

 

i went with reverse indiglows from ebay and bought lumnineedles that light up at night. heres a picture of my old crx cluster, I dont have a night shot of it, I might be able to call the guy that bought my crx from me and he could get a night shot of the gauges.


it was nice to have to the numbers in the gauges were the only things that light up and needles also light up and looked bad ***.

I used transparent paint pen and did my cluster and my heater controls. looks dope

 

ahh i was to lazy to do the heater controls.

 

not tryin to steal the thread....well maybe...but...lets see ur dash...post them up...
