can someone please help with selecting the proper type of shock adjustability?
I am considering the Tein SS coilovers for my Integra (I don't have a Type-R, but I greatly value the opinions from members of this forum). I plan on attending an autocross at least every other weekend, but this is also my daily driver (but i only drive a couple days a week). My budget for springs and shocks is ~$1k.
I contacted Tein USA asking about the adjustability of the dampers in the SS coilover kit. They responded that they adjust compression and rebound together.
I believe koni sports have compression fixed, while rebound is adjustable.
It sounds like having independent compression and rebound adjustments is best, but is there a quality shock that does this for less than $200 per corner? If not, am I better off with the Tein's adjustment of compression/rebound together or Koni's fixed compression, adjustable rebound?
Thanks for your help,
Phil
