so i just got back from the track today and i was very impressed with what my car put down my best was a 14.29 at 95 mph on drag radials with a stock B16 as far as i know but i was just wondering is this messed up or is this what normal B16 hatches run?

Thats a good time, not unusual at all. I ran a 13.9 with I/H/E B16 in a Civic hatch

There is nothing to be puzzled about. You ran drag radials, you cut a good 60 foot, you ran a good time. The traps don't indicate anything "unusual" in the HP area. Looks fine.

 

alright we were just wondering since another B16 hatch with pretty much the same setup only having a suspension better than mine ran a 14.7 and thats all he could cut. thanks for all the help

Same here. Get some M/T 20x8x14's and break into the 13's. Mine would only trap like 93/94mph.

friday night I ran a best of a 14.8 at 29mph. Tires were 205/50/15 Dunlop DZ101's and suspension was Omni street coilovers. Only other mods are crappy *** exhaust and AEM hybrid intake. The only thing that sucks was those times were pretty much identical to the last time I went with my POS 13in steelies and crap tires and a K&N dropin with the same crappy exhaust. I was happy to be consistant but I was hoping for something a little better.

I call BS. 14.8 @ 29mph isn't right!

 

my bad, I meant 92mph

 

 

in my friends eg hatch, with just an LS swap with i/h/e, we landed a 14.60 FLAT with 13" steelies and trapped 97mph.
