60 ft is horrible!! get that down to a 2.0x and you'll see 14.50's no problem. Just gonna take some practice, practice, pratice. Try differernt launching techniques next time out
really 15.6 is probably all you're gonna get out of a stock b16. you may be able to get it down to the 15.3 range but the weight of an integra and the gearing for the gsr transmission with the b16 motor isn't helping you too much since the low amount of torque that the b16 carries. thats my opinion. but like the other guy said work on your 60' times and you should be able to get it atleast to the low 15's
ok is it true every tenth u take off your 60 ft its like .2 tenths off your 1/4 mile and i know b16a has not enough torqe for that body i am swaping it to a eg coupe i just wanted to see the diff. in the times
yes..its the rule of thumb that every.1 you shave off in the 60ft results in .2 at the end.
However, duplicated the same exact run with just a lower 60ft time is quite hard.
I think you have tons of room for improvement. Try different launch RPMs, tire psi and clutch engagement. with some practice you could hit a decent 2.2 60ft that will land you in the mid 14 range.
just practice...good luck
