Default My new 88 CRX Si

Technically its not mine, YET, because i cant get leave to head back home to SoCal and pick her up from my buddy. But come july... I'll be tearing back across the mojave and on my way back to kansas with this puppy!

Paying my buddy $2k, and its comes with 2 or 3 sets of wheels (The ones shown in the pic and i think maybe another set,) full roll cage, along with 2 sets of springs (all the way around) and 2 brand new eiback springs. The remainder of the poly bushings that havent been installed yet, carbon hood, a spoiler (cant remember which ones, but its an OEM honda one,) uhm... New 5 point harness... and so much other stuff i cant even recall right now.

I've driven her many a time before i joined the army and got stuck in kansas, and this car litterally feels like its on rails. It may not be the fastest (dc sports header, supertrap muffler, cat bypass, and an intake on the otherwise stock d16) but it can damn near beat anything inthe twisties!

Anyways on to the good stuff:

and lastly a pic from its SCCA Auto X days:

Yea it was. Got stolen like my second day back home. I only got to play with it one night

It was found new years eve in compton, with the headers and seat padding stolen, and i think oil dumped on the floor Cops didnt call my buddy to let him know about it until about 2 days after I left. He cleaned it up and got replacement headers though :D

Hey now, that doesn't look like an auto-x set-up in the pic. It says ITA on the door

not sure. previous owner had the cage put in. I want to say i was told it was custom , but i'm not entirely sure.

Oh and as soon as it's here, those first gen rims will be for sale I think im gonna go with some 15" Konig Muniz wheels in black. Only 10 pounds a rim :D

If its a dd, then why the rollcage? Its more dangerous than one without, you can smash your head on it.

haha i agree! And no, i dont even recognize who that is. I second the new forum!

As for the cage, I plan on racing it again. Of course I still need to look up the rules and such for it, but the cage was put in so it could compete in the scca ita class. I could be way off here, but thats what I was told.
