i have a race header and exhaust on my 06 type-s. i needed a new primary 02 because mine got stuck in my stock header. i just put the new one in and the new 2nd sensor and now............ i have a battery light and checkengine and the car just shut off due to a dead battery........ it turns out that the alt. fuse under the steering wheel was blown...... i charged the battery over night and now this morning i am getting these codes.....
p0340-camshaft position sensor no signal
p0135- primary 02 sensor heater circuit malf.
p0141- 2nd 02 sensor heater curcuit malf.
p0498- evap emission canister vent shut valve control circuit low voltage.

HELP!

better put everything back to stock and take it back to the dealership.

 

did u buy the plug and play o2 sensors or cut and splice

thats the problem with the rsx scene, since hte car is newer, everyone hsa this mentality to take everythign to the damn dealer. if you look at the b series guys, they do it all themselves.

If my car was under warrenty still you would not get me under there if I didnt have to. Dont get me wrong I do everything myself but im telling you that i get so stressed out and either end up breaking something or yelling foul language and people get mad with me... dealer warrenty ftw

 

Did you buy an OEM o2 sensor or some garbage from an auto parts store?
