Default H22 in 98, Can I stay OBD2?

If all I want to do is swap JUST the engine, can I stay OBD2 or do I need to convert to OBD1?

If it's pulled from an OBD II prelude then I would presume so. They were offered in the 5th Gen Prelude weren't they?

yes but you will want a base model obd2 w/o the ATTS and you will need a 1996 USDM p13 ECU or JDM obd2 p13 ECU that doesnt have the immobilizer.
