84mm on Stock sleeves.
Im in an argument with a guy on the local site. He is trying to sell a ls integra that is bored out to 84+mm to make it a 2.0L. I asked what sleeves and pistons and he told me stock sleeves and he does not know what pistons are in it.
Can you bore a stock 81mm B-Series block to a 2.0L and if you can, how is the reliability.
I told him there is no way your car is a 2.0L. He then replied with this:

Thankyou.

if what he says is true about those sleeves, stay away from that motor. the walls of those cylinders must be so thin. get him to send you a picture.
yes u can bore the LS to 84 (2.0) thats basically a b20. as for the reliability. the sleeves give out shortly. usually around 6 months. a b20 is basically a LS thats 2.0 and b20 sleeves are weak too. i had a 1.9 LS and it was reliable. from wat i expierenced, dont go above 1.9 unless u plan on getting sleeves

ls sleeves =/= b20 sleeves
They are completely different.
